Aēsop Body Care

Skin care is an important process of keeping and maintaining an healthy body. As important as face care, it is important to keep your skin glowing to. Myself have tried a variety of body lotions before due to i have a really dry skin condition. Some however fail to do what they say on the packaging until last year my friend introduced me into Aēsop and i fell in love with it.

The two products:

1. Resurrection Aromatique Hand Balm 75ml
Suitable for all skin types - £16

2. Rind Concentrate Body Balm 500 ml
Suitable for all skin types - £60

Aēsop they have a range of products suitable for all skin types. There categories of product includes hair care, body care and face care. Also a lot of other products on there website Aēsop website.

Aēsop Rind Concentrate Body Balm

Product information.
- Orange Rind. Pink Grapefruit. Lemon Rind
- Citrus, Aloe and Carrots extracts
- Fast acting moisturising balm for all skin types
Perfect for post-sun use
- Botanical hydrating balm, containing emollients
- Contains nut oil (which may not be suitable to some)

First impression of this product is the scent is very powerful, as it contains fruits extract it has a sweet citrus smell. When using this product the pump was very easy to control, the amount needed when using this product is minium as a little really does go along way. The texture is quite thick but once placed onto skin it apply smoothly into a thin layer.

This product does take time to massage into the skin which isn't a problem as once in a while you need to help your blood circulation flow. After use you can see the changes, skin is a lot smoother with with no greasy feeling afterwards. however may be disturbed as the smell is long lasting (: which some may dislike.

Verdict out of 5 :♥♥♥♥

Resurrection Aromatique Hand Balm

Product Information:
- Mandarin Rind, Rosemary Leaf, Cedarwood Lead
- Great for rough skin, cuticles and nails
- Ideal to massage on into tired feet at night before retiring

My impression of this product is great for super dry hands, however the scent in this product is quite overwhelming a strong flowery scent. Which can feel sickly . However it does the job, of hydrating my skin very well.Which doesn't leave a greasy feeling in my hands.

The cons of this product is the packaging it is annoying screwing the cap back on, and it exploded in my bag before, also the price for this product is expensive. I don't think i repurchase this product and stick with soap & glory hand food (:

Verdict out of 5 : ♥♥

I would like to try more of Aēsop products, however i feel that there scent and price does put me off. Although each product does last a long time which is worth it and a little does go along way. You should try some of these products if you ever visit there branch, it a like or dislike product in my opinion. However i must admit it does wonder to the skin (:

what body lotions are you using?

  1. i heard many good things about this brand and i was curious. thanks for the review!
i usually go for CeraVe lotion or cream cause i don't like my fragrance crash with my body moisturizer scent. but sometimes a simple natural scented body care product would take care of everything by itself! :)
