November Favourites

Since being on this trip i've thought to start a favourites each month. As i have used these products nearly every day and i been loving these products. suitable for hot weathers and just does wonder for my skin.

Hada Labo Shiroyun Arbutin Milk

Loving this product, it makes my skin feel so smooth and reduces freckles and dark spots. Which is excellent as daaammn mosquito's bit my face ;(. The marks that it left has faded away when using this product

It contains vitamin C which is excellent for weather in Malaysia, as it will repair my dry and dull skin caused by sun exposure, containing hyaluronic acid which hydrates my skin very well.

Biore cleansing oil

since i left my Shu Uemura cleansing oil in Hong Kong. I was going to purchase another one but i thought to try out new products. so i decided too pick this up at local Watson in Malaysia.

This is a cheap effective way to remove all traces of my makeup including waterproof mascara. It also hydrates and soothes my skin containing various botanical extracts. It isn't as good as Shu Uemura as the smell is quite disturbing. Although since im in Malaysia i may try other products as well.

Mopiko

This is a life saviour; im sure many people that go to asia country may know this product as it is the instant cure from itching from the nasty blood sucking flies.

New best friend that i have to apply on my spots each nights which reduces itchiness which does wonder i guess.

Don't we all wish mosquito sucks fat instead of blood, ahh it be good!

Nail products

Mavala scientifique nail harder

a great products to mend splitting nails, flaking or soft nails become healthy and strong. Which i love and apply on before applying nail varnish and top coat.

Laura Mercier Translucent powder

Love this product a lot, sets my make-up and does wonder and wouldn't budge. A little of this product goes quite along way.

It is a nice matte finish as sometime in the hot weather it makes your face dewy with the sweat anyway. (==)!

Oatmeal cleanser

This is actually so good, me and my boyfriend started using this. I heard good reviews about this as it is cheap and effective leaves my skin very soft. However the only down side for this it is messy which i really don't mind as i find it fun to use (:

The last product that i use is the shu-uemura facial mist product which i love as an instant pick me up. now i am on the search for more products that i may enjoy and love.

Daiso Charcoal mask & OFOTD #1

Product Information.

Daiso Charcoal mask, it contains three main ingredients init. Obviously charcoal, water and fragrance. The charcoal in this is Activated charcoal which has high adsorptive powers which enable to draw out the impurities from the skin.

How to use

- Cleanse Face as usual and pat dry

- Apply layer of the product on to face

- Ensure that it doesn't get near your eyebrows/lips/eyes

- Wait for mask to dry (it should feel tight and no stickness)

- Peel off and you see the results

- Cleanse face with cold water to close pores

- Apply Moisturiser as usual

- Use once a week for best results.

My Impression

It my turn to apply this masks, that looks like i just came out from a explosion.. haha! 'sexy and i know it'

Honestly this was easier to apply on compared to the Activa mask. It easy to place onto to the skin, However removing this mask i was screaming like a B'tch. ! i either left it on too long or it just hurt whilst peeling this off. Compared to what Alvin said to me previously when appealing of the Activa Mask it didn't hurt at all. it stripped off my fines hair and left my face super super soft,so no pain no gain =,=".

Pros

- Super Cheap 5RM,

- Fun to play around

- Leaving skin super smooth

- Like seeing the gunk that comes out of face XD

Cons

- Hurts =0= whilst peeling

- Doesn't remove blackheads that well.

Don't think i've done this before, so thought to show you guys what i wear in hot weather. To me it seems limited of clothes that you can't really go without which are shorts =0=!.I really should be using my camera to take pictures but forget half of the time...so hot weather this is what i wear something simple. ! (: although i miss layering wearing my knits! T-T!

Kiehl's Product Review

Winter has arrived and your face may become dry and stripped from moisture. The kiehl's products that i have tried is very suitable for this weather condition. As these products moisture and hydrate the skin very well in this Kiehl's Range.

''oh BTW all the products that i am reviewing are suitable for all skin types. Even for those that have sensitive skin and dry skin like myself -0-!''

The steps of how i use these products;

1. Ultra Facial Cleanser

Product Information;

- Mild Formula to throughly cleanse skin and remove makeup, without over dying or stripping skin of its natural oils.

- Dissolves exccess oil, dirt and debris.

- PH-Balanced to maintain skin natural balance

My Impression;

This product a little goes along way, it foams up very nicely and cleanses my excess makeup that maybe left on my skin from removing. This product does as it says doesn't dry my skin at all. Rinses off easily and doesn't leave any nasty residue. How use these product is use a the pink scrub and massage it in my face. The reason why i use this as it can clean my pores and get into the areas where make up made me left. Using that around my face i will then remove the product by using a cloth. I highly recommend this product for all skin types. As this product can last you literally near to a year.

2.Ultra Facial Toner

My impression;

This product to me seems similar to the japanese ones that i use, it helps to clean off any more excess residue that may be left behind on my skin. Using this is just applying it to cotton pad and use on face. It is a gentle and doesn't tighten my skin after using this product which is always a plus. Leaving skin feeling really refreshed, however i don't think i will repurchase this again.

3.Ultra Facial Micro Serum

My impression;

It applies to my face very smoothly, it says to massage into my face however my opinion how i use this is to pat into my skin. As i feel it lock in more moisture, this product is very soothing as it is enriched with i Imperata Cylindrica Plant Extract which the roots does contain high concentration of potassium which provides immediate and lasting hydrating. leaving my skin very supple.

4.Ultra Facial Cream

My Impression;

This i feel is an excellent product for winter, it moisture my skin very well. I apply it to my face and neck and it absorbs in very quickly. It is an excellent in hydrating my skin, it suitable for my dry and sensitive skin. The texture of this product is light and applies on smoothly which means it won't clump and feel you have layer of products on your skin. Another great thing about this product a little goes along way, as a tub can last nearly up to a year -0-'

My impression

This is unique product, it leaves my skin incredibly soft in the morning after applying the previous night. This product is like a scrub however it is less harsh and suitable for sensitive skin. It actually feel in some sort way it renews & rejuvenate your skin leaving it supple and soft. Another plus is if you have any scars from spots etc, it seems to get rid of it or cools the area down very well.

Verdict:

Kiehl's products are quite expensive in my opinion, however you may ask 'is it worth it' honestly i feel it totally worth it. As each product in this line a little really goes a long way. You would only need a pea size amount and it will cover your full face & neck. The only product that wouldn't be purchased again is the toner as i feel it doesn't really do much. However everything else i really do enjoy using it and hydrates my skin very well for these winter condition.

After doing this review, i think i should of just done a Video -0-' it would be must easier how i use these product but never mind, ^^ when i pluck up the courage to do so... i will haha..

Healthy hair i feel is quite important and essential. As everything can age but hair wouldn't in such if you keep it healthy. Keeping hair from brittle and soft is always been important to me as previous year i have dyed my hair quite a lot and it has done damage to my hair. To fix this i have tried a range of hair products. The most beneficial i feel to keep my hair soft and manageable is using these hair masks.

How I Use?

Using this product 2/3 times a week

pending on my hair and if im lazy -0-

- Use after shampoo

- Apply to 15cm towards end of my hair

- wait for 5 minutes or longer if like

- rinse with warm water

- rinse with cold water

Alternative

- Apply to ends of your hair

- Wrap your hair in cling film

- wait for 1/2 hair

- rinse well

Essential Ultra Honey & Shea Butter - Nuance Airy

Product Information

My Impression

After using this product my hair is soft and has a nice glossy shine and silky hair. Using this product the is very easy a small amount goes a long way. Aussie - Limited Edition - Deep Treatment

This is a 3 minute miracle, this contain australian natives used jojoba seed-oil to heal skin.

My Impression

This is an alternative to using Essential butter Shea mask, as it is inconvenient sometime to purchase essential products on the internet. This product is comparable to essential Shea mask. Although the formula isn't the same it does leave you hair an luscious feeling. Also leaving you hair smelling gorgeous. This product can be purchased at boots/superdrug or any supermarkets.

Umberto Giannini - Indulgent beauty moisture mask

Product Information

A deep treatment conditioner for dry damaged hair that indulges the senses. suitability for dry damaged and processed hair. It claims to leave your hair replenished and staying away form dry damaged hair whilst the luxurious feel and soothing scent pamper the sense.

My impression

I got this in boots and i did like it when using it although i noticed after using this i felt my hair wasn't as soft as i wanted it. I didn't really like the formula, and didn't does as it claims. it some sort made my hair fall out, and not so keen on the smell. This product can be purchased at superdrug/boots

Generally i am impressed with the products that i purchased, however i found that majority hair mask is dipping your hands into to select the amount you need for your hair. I normally dislike putting my fingers into jars, however for these i feel the packaging for any of the product is ideal. Furthermore i feel that since it winter these hair masks are great to keep your hair replenished and silky. As the weather condition can dry your hair and damage it.

OH, I fell in love with there collection of Shu Uemura Facial Mist, They are highly moisturising and it is a quick 'pick me up' remedy for the days when you feel you look like a zombie -0-. or when you over caked your make up and it looks cakey/powdery (if they are words) . It sets a nice dewy finish to your skin.

How I would use this?

-Spray on the face after washing my face, to retrain/hydrate my skin. As sometime some products can wipe out all oils on your face

- Use when my face feel tight and dry. It is an instant 'pick me up'

- Use before or after to set my make up for a nice glow and flawless finish

- Use on my hair if it feels dull and brittle just to add a little life to it..

My experience

I love these product, and majority of shu uemura skin care line, as they always have something suitable for my drying skins. In this dep-sea collection i have tried Lavender, Rose and Camomile. Each of them have same uses to hydrate your skin/hair/body. The only different hence the name is the scent, I tried and tested the other scents and at counters and there are some others i like to try. Each bottle lasted me about 6-8 months depending how frequently i use it to be honest, also pending on what season it is. The benefits it has for my skin as it refreshes it and relaxes my skin, Also locking in moisture to have a stable balance.

Verdict

People may find this product is expensive as it like;...water with scent?
However i do feel it worth the investment and suitable to use at anytime.

also i'm sure you be able to find a facial mist that suite your skin, or mood.

Even if you don't like scented products there is a fragrance free one..

On top of this the packaging is simple and you can always check how much you have left.

Crystal Hydrating Eye Mask

Eyes are the most delicate part of your face. I find it hard to find a product to keep it hydrating and keeping it bright, as sometime i watch so much drama which means i have less sleep -0-! which ultimately means i have puffs under my eyes, and look like a zombie/tired !

How I cover my dark under circles/puffiness eyes

1. Apply tons of make up to cover my dark circles 'eeks''

2. Simple 15 minute process applying eye mask...

3. Apply eye cream

My Scheming - Crystal Hydrating Eye Mask

This product is from Taiwan.

First thoughts on this mask is the packaging is very cute. When opening the mask there is a scent of grape which doesn't bother me as much.

I have tried eye mask before, and this is very moisturising and the different is quite obvious when applied before and after. The product is cooling and there is a slight tingle sensation, which may bother some people. The Jelly from this product has sufficient amount of liquid however the good part of this. It holds well on the eye, doesn't slide around.

After applying this eye mask for 15 minutes, my eyes feel revitalise and hydrated. I would repurchase this again as i do feel it does wonder to the eyes and un-messy quick fix.

The only problem about this eye mask is i need to purchase it online, or stock up a lot when i go to asia countries. However another alternative is remake a DIY version of this mask using green tea, and reusing the moulds from the eye mask. BeautyQQ on youtube have tutorials on this.

Winter Lips

Winter is always one of the seasons when my lips are the driest-0-!

As winter is approaching this is a little review of what products i use...

As throughout my life i have been trying new lip balms/chapsticks.

to keep my lips moisture, i actually accumulated more than i need for pair of lips..

Lip balm is an essential part of my life, i need it with me every day..

It quite bad that if i don't bring an lip balm out with me, i would purchase it on the day ._.!

Lipice colour - Peach Cream

This was suppose to be a peach lip balm, it gives a sheer shine to your lips. The colour is quite obvious never the less this lip balm contains SPF 15 so that my lips, also containing vitamin E, Lanolin oil, Medowfoam seed oil and mango seed butter which will help lock in the moisture into lips. However this product i wouldn't repurchase as when applying the colour it made my lips looked more chapped. Also after when licking my lips it made my throat dry, also the need of reapplication is quite often.

The pros of this product is it gives a sheer shine, it is a sweet look the price for this is affordable. Also liking the menthol feeling on my lips which tingles a slight bit.

Vaseline - Rose & Almond Oil

This product is a well known product, and i love the smell of this and no doubt it moistures your lips very well. Adding a sheer shine to your lips which pulls of a natural look. This is not expensive and will last quite along time.

Superdrug - The little pink tin

Superdrug has a range of petroleum jelly. However this is a product that i rarely use any more. As i heard that if you keep using these product it becomes really dependent on this, however i do keep this in hand to remove make up sometimes.

The body shop - Born lippy

OH i use to fall in love with body shop lip balm collection, this one is pink guava the smell is devine. The product includes beeswax, hydrogenated castor oil and safflower seed oil. This helps to give a glossy finish and moisture my lips very well.

The body shop - Lip car 01 Translucent

This product as you can see from the picture i've pretty much finished it it is very hydrating and conditions the lips which gives an subtle shine. The main ingredients in this is marula oil, vitamin E and mango seed oil. There isn't anything i don't like about this product, applying this before lipstick/gloss is perfect.

Kiehl Lip Balm #1

This is an popular lip balm and there is quite a lot of rave about this. My impression when i used this is it is very moisturising on the lips however the packaging could be much more better. Also when using this in hot weathers the formulation just becomes like oil, and isn't suitable for my lips.

Mogitate Kajitsu - White Peach

This is one of the top selling lip balm in japan, It contains real natural fruit juice and honey with three types of vitamins C, E and A and UV protection. The scent is pleasant it isn't overly sweet, my lips stays moisturised for hours after applying this. This gives an refreshing menthol feeling and moist.

EOS - Honeysuckle Honeydew

This product is like a lip orgasm, it is 95% organic 100% natural and it is petrolatum free. The scent for this is just gorgeous and same goes with this taste. It is packed with antioxidant and riched with vitamin E. soothing shea butter and jojoba oil. After using this my lips are instantly soft (: . A very promising product i will recommend to purchase...!

Etthusais - Lip Essence SPF 18.PA ++

This product is another top selling product in japan apparently sold every 30 second. This is an highly moisturising product, protecting my lips from UV rays and gives my bare lips a sheer gloss. The best thing of this product it is fragrance free, and have an good staying power.

The only cons of this product, is the formula if applied to much on your lips it does look really oily -0-!

i remember this product was quite pricey, as i purchased this in hong kong so i can't remember exact price. However i do believe it is totally worth it (:

These products that i have purchased i do like them, however i prefer products that are in a tube and don't have to use your fingers. As i do feel that it feels it isn't sanitary or hygienic, I mean just imagine if you was busy throughout the day you haven't washed your hands and applying lip balm with your fingers, how much batteria are you bringing to your mouth?
